The GALA® and VALTHERA platforms are integral parts of RAPSODEE. 

Their activities focus on product-driven process analysis and design, in one of RAPSODEE's two main research areas:

• Energy and Environment (VALTHERA)
• Engineering for Health (GALA®)

By supporting R&D, these two platforms implement material resources and methodological tools that enable manufacturers to make more flexible technological choices.

RAPSODEE offers a vast range of up-to-date equipment to characterize the raw materials handled (divided solids, biomass, waste, etc.) and the co-products generated (solids, gases, and/or liquids). Additionally, we study the transformations these materials undergo on a micro to macro scale. These facilities can be used for a broad range of essential analyses in different industrial sectors, including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, agriculture, environment, among others.
